EDUCATION FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Cheryl Youakim, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:34 AM on January 24, 2023, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistance noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Pursell moved that the January 18, 2023, minutes be adopted. The motion prevailed.

HF 5(Jordan) School lunch and breakfast for all students provided.

Representative Jordan moved HF 5 before the committee.

Rep Jordan moved the DE3 amendment.

Representative Jordan moved the A2 amendment to amend the DE3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Jordan moved the A5 amendment to amend the DE3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Jordan moved the DE3 amendment, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Sydney Jordan presented HF 5 as amended.
