EDUCATION POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Laurie Pryor, Chair of the Committee on Education Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM on March 14, 2023 in Room 120 of the Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Frazier moved to approve the minutes from March 10, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2097 (Frazier); Active shooter drill standards provided.

Rep. Frazier moved that HF2097 be re-referred to the committee on Education Finance.

Rep. Frazier moved the H2097A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Frazier presented HF2097 as amended.

Representative Youakim moved that HF160 be re-referred to the committee on Education Finance.

Representative Keeler moved that HF2297 be laid over for further consideration.

Representative Kraft presented HF2297.
