LEGACY FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Leon Lillie, Chair of the Committee on Legacy Finance, called the meeting to order at 10:38 AM on March 15, 2023, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lee moved that the minutes from March 8, 2023 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 470 (Bierman) Minnesota Zoological Garden funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Lillie moved that HF 470 be laid over for possible inclusion in future Legacy Finance Committee omnibus bill.

Representative Bierman presented HF 470.

Chair Lillie renewed the motion that HF 2088 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Legacy Finance Committee omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.

HF 1247 (Pérez-Vega) Science Museum of Minnesota funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Lillie moved that HF 1247 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Legacy Finance Committee omnibus bill.

HF 2120 (Jordan) Appetite for Change Community Cooks program funding provided and money appropriated.

Chair Lillie moved that HF 2120 be laid over for possible inclusion in future Legacy Finance Committee omnibus bill.

Representative Jordan presented HF 2120.

Vice-Chair Hussein moved that HF 1676 be laid over for possible inclusion in future Legacy Finance Committee omnibus bill.
