Representative Ginny Klevorn, Chair of the State and Local Government Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:31 A.M. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Huot moved to approve the minutes from March 9, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2555 (Klevorn); Number of copies of a mandated report that a department or agency must file with the Legislative Reference Library modified.
Chair Klevorn moved that HF2555 be re-referred to the General Register.

Chair Klevorn presented HF2555.

Testifying on the bill:

Chair Klevorn renewed the motion that HF2555 be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF348 (Howard); Cost-sharing limited for prescription drugs and related medical supplies to treat chronic disease.
Chair Klevorn moved that HF348 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

Representative Howard presented HF348.

Chair Klevorn renewed the motion that HF348 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2446 (Nadeau); Hennepin County; Municipal Building Commission dissolved; transfer of property, assets, and obligations of commission to the city of Minneapolis authorized.
Representative Nadeau moved that HF2446 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State and Local Government Policy and Finance Omnibus bill.

Representative Nadeau presented HF2446.

Representative Frieberg moved that HF1723 be re-referred to the Elections Finance and Policy Committee.

HF1835 (Nash); State chief information officer required to establish metrics to assess the progress of cloud computing projects, terms in contracts involving state agency's use of licensed software applications prohibited, and report to the legislature required to include information on cloud computing projects within state agencies.
Representative Nash moved that HF1835 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State and Local Government Finance and Policy Omnibus bill.
