MINUTES
Representative Frank Hornstein, Chair of the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:31 A.M., on January 19, 2023 in Room 120 of the Capitol Building.

Representative Petersburg moved that the minutes from January 17, 2023 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 235 (Keeler) A bill for an act relating to transportation; providing Indian employment preference for members of federally recognized Tribes on projects near Indian reservations; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 161.
Chair Hornstein moved that HF 235 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Transportation omnibus bill.
Chair Hornstein moved the author’s A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Rep. Keeler presented HF 235, as amended.
Chair Hornstein renewed his motion that HF 235, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Transportation omnibus bill.
