WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Liz Olson, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order at 10:30 A.M. on, Monday, February 6, 2023, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Edelson moved that the minutes of January 30, 2023, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF13 (Pinto) Child care assistance rates modified.

Representative Pinto moved that HF 13 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Pinto moved the A11 amendment to HF 13. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Informal discussion was had on the A3 amendment to HF 13 as amended.

Representative Garofalo withdrew the A3 amendment to HF 13 as amended.

Representative Pinto presented HF 13 as amended.

Representative Pinto renewed the motion that HF 13 as amended be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF444 (Keeler) Homeless Youth Act modified, and money appropriated.

Chair Olson moved that HF 444 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Keeler presented HF 444.

Representative Hassan requested a roll call.

Chair Olson renewed the motion that HF 444 be re-referred to the General Register.

The clerk took the roll.
