Legislative Update from Rep. Robert BiermanDear Neighbors, I hope this email finds you well. With two weeks left in the legislative session, we’re working to wrap up the work for the biennium. Finding a solution to keep HCMC’s doors open continues to be top of mind. I’ve also been working on getting a health bill across the finish line that does the least amount of damage to Minnesotans, as we’re forced to align state law with the federal Big Ugly Betrayal; otherwise known as HR 1. I spoke about it in the House Health Committee last week, and you can see my comments here. This Saturday, May 9, we can talk all about it at my next community coffee hour. I’ll be gathering with constituents at 9:00 a.m. at Dunn Brothers Coffee in Apple Valley (15265 Galaxie Ave). As always, everyone is welcome to share their thoughts and questions. I’m looking forward to seeing and hearing from you. See you Saturday, Robert Bierman State Representative |
