Dear Friends and Neighbors, As we gather to celebrate Independence Day, I want to wish you and your family a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July. The Fourth of July is one of those holidays that feels especially meaningful in Greater Minnesota. Communities come together for parades and fireworks, families gather at the cabin or around the grill, and neighbors take time to enjoy the simple moments that make summer in Minnesota so special. This year also carries added significance as we celebrate America's 250th anniversary. For 250 years, our nation has been guided by the enduring principles of freedom, self-government, and opportunity. The liberties we enjoy today were secured by generations of Americans who believed in something bigger than themselves and were willing to sacrifice to preserve it. Their service and dedication helped build the country we know today and remind us that freedom is both a blessing and a responsibility. I remain grateful to represent a district that values hard work, strong families, service to others, and love of country. Those values are reflected every day in our communities and are a big part of what makes this area such a wonderful place to call home. As you celebrate this weekend, I hope you have the opportunity to slow down, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy the traditions that make Independence Day special.
