Dear Neighbors, I’m writing with a quick update to share that Governor Walz has called the legislature back for a special session this Monday, June 9 at 10:00 a.m. We have 14 budget bills left to pass, and are anticipating a long day. With this in mind, I’m cancelling our Hennepin Happy Hour scheduled for that day as I’ll be voting on legislation to fund our public schools, health care system, protect our climate, and more.
