Rep. Kari Rehrauer Delivers Coon Rapids Dam Improvements in 2026 Infrastructure and Jobs Bill
SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Today, the Minnesota House passed a $1.2 billion infrastructure and jobs bill to service critical infrastructure and local projects. The bill includes funding for necessary repairs and maintenance for the Coon Rapids Dam, thanks to the advocacy by original bill author Rep. Kari Rehrauer (DFL – Coon Rapids).
“One of the best ways the state can save money is by being proactive and maintaining infrastructure, rather than having to clean up catastrophic infrastructure failures after the fact," said Rep. Rehrauer. "The Coon Rapids Dam is a piece of critical infrastructure that we need to take care of, and I’m proud to champion this project for our community.”
