Statement from Rep. Dean Urdahl re: Gov's bonding proposal

Tuesday, February 26, 2019

ST. PAUL – State Rep. Dean Urdahl, R-Acton Township, who is the minority lead on the House Capital Investment Committee, issued the following statement today in response to Gov. Tim Walz on Tuesday issuing his proposal for a $1.27 billion capital investment bill this session:

“This year our focus will be on setting a new two-year state budget," Urdahl said. “I look forward to working with House Democrats and the governor to see if we are able to put together a plan that is capable of generating the super majority 81 votes that is necessary to pass a bonding bill this biennium.”
