Hope you can attend town hall meeting

Friday, January 17, 2014
Dear Neighbor,

The 2014 session starts late next month and I am looking for input from local citizens as we prepare to address the issues.

One of the ways district residents can communicate with me is by attending a town hall meeting I will be hosting this Tuesday (Jan. 21) in Cokato. Below is a recent news release with more details.

Sincerely,
Dean

NEWS RELEASE

Rep. Urdahl to host

town hall meeting in Cokato

ST. PAUL – State Rep. Dean Urdahl will host a town hall meeting 7 p.m. Jan. 21 at Cokato City Hall.

The Acton Township Republican invites residents of District 18A to attend the meeting and provide him with input on the issues in preparation for the 2014 legislative session, which starts Feb. 25. Urdahl also will provide an update of developing issues, such as the sluggish roll-out of Minnesota’s new health insurance program – MNsure.

“This is a great opportunity for local citizens to participate in a casual conversation and let me know their thoughts, ideas and concerns,” Urdahl said. “This session is likely to include proposals to legalize marijuana, increase the minimum wage and bring new anti-bullying mandates to our schools. I look forward to receiving feedback on these issues and more.”

City Hall is located at 255 Broadway Ave. S. in Cokato.
