ST. PAUL – The 2021 Legislative Session has begun, and State Representative Rod Hamilton (R-Mountain Lake) recently learned his committee assignments for the next two years.
Hamilton will serve as the Republican Lead on the Minnesota House Workforce and Business Development Finance and Policy Committee.
“With the current issues of businesses shuttered and people unemployed, the responsibilities of this committee is of utmost importance,” Hamilton said. “I am truly looking forward to finding bipartisan, workable solutions for employers and employees throughout the State of Minnesota.”
Hamilton is also expected to serve on the Minnesota House Industrial Education and Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee.
Hamilton represents Minnesota House District 22B, which includes all or parts of Nobles, Jackson, Cottonwood and Redwood counties.
