SAINT PAUL, MN —State Rep. Rick Hansen (DFL – South Saint Paul) released the following statement following the Republican MNLARS press conference:
“Minnesotans deserve a licensing system that works, and they expect it to be fixed when it doesn’t. We are now in the seventh month of this crisis. The Republicans have obsessively focused on problems while avoiding responsibility and problem solving. A month ago, Governor Dayton alerted legislators the funding needs and that contracts with employees were about to expire. We need to provide those funds, while maintaining our oversight responsibility, to ensure the MNLARS system is fixed for Minnesotans.”
