SAINT PAUL, Minn.—State Representative Rick Hansen (DFL—South St. Paul) was elected to serve as the chair of the Legislative Audit Commission today.
“The Legislative Audit Commission takes the role of protecting public money seriously,” said Rep. Hansen. “I am honored to have been chosen to lead this important commission. I look forward to working with colleagues from both parties to take a close look at government financing and how public dollars are spent.”
Rep. Hansen previously served as chair of the Program Evaluation Subcommittee of the Legislative Audit Commission.
