St. Paul, Minn - On Thursday, August 29, Majority Leader Ryan Winkler will host a kickoff of statewide Community Conversations on Cannabis outside the Farmers Union at the State Fair. He will distribute “Be Heard on Cannabis” cowbells to fairgoers to encourage Minnesotans to join the conversation on how to legalize and regulate cannabis for adult use.

In an August op-ed, Rep. Winkler announced that legalizing cannabis for adult use will be a legislative priority during the 2020 session. Since then, the Majority Leader’s Office has been meeting stakeholders to seek their input on crafting legislation.
