Happy Easter
Hello, friends. I wanted to take a moment and wish you all a happy Easter. This Easter season looks profoundly different than those of the past. I know that this year we are celebrating in very different ways than we have previously. Despite this, I believe it is important to remember Easter in the context of our national challenges.
The central message of the Easter story is resurrection and hope. Our nation is gripped by this pandemic and its effects on our economy, livelihood, and personal lives. However, I have hope that this too shall pass. In many ways, the resurrection story of Jesus Christ reflects the hope that we must have today.
As we continue to persevere through this crisis, I think it’s important that we all take a step back, gain some perspective, and reflect on the things that matter most. I hope you all have a special Easter. God bless you.
