Legislative Update from Rep. Franson

Wednesday, September 11, 2019

Dear Neighbors,

The American Conservative Union Foundation (ACUF) has released its 2019 Minnesota scorecard, and they have honored me with an award for Conservative Excellence based on my 93% score for the 2019 legislative session.

I’m proud to be recognized for my commitment to conservative values. I have consistently advocated for individual liberty, low taxes, and family values. I am glad to have the support of our community and the recognition of the ACUF as I work to hold government accountable and make our state the best place to live and work

In addition to earning a 93% score, I am proud to say that two of my amendments were used in the evaluation, both on issues that I have been working on for some time. One was my amendment to strengthen the Inspector General’s office in order to reduce fraud within the Department of Human Services, and one was an amendment to prevent the forced licensing of early education teachers.

If you ever have comments, questions, or concerns regarding any issue related to state government, please feel free to contact me. I can be reached via phone at 651-296-3201 or by email at rep.mary.franson@house.mn.

It’s an honor to represent the best!
