Rep. Franson Statement on Anniversary of Roe v. Wade
SAINT PAUL, MN – Rep. Mary Franson, R-Alexandria, released the following statement Friday on the 47th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision:
“Today is a somber milestone in our nation’s history as we mark the anniversary of Roe v. Wade and the nationwide legalization of abortion. Every life is a precious gift from God. I am praying today for the over 50 million innocent lives that have been cut short under Roe.
“I will always stand up to protect the unborn and be a voice for the voiceless. As an American, a leader, but most importantly a mother, I devote myself to fostering a culture that respects and values the sanctity of life.”
