ST. PAUL – State Rep. Steve Green, R, Fosston, issued the following statement regarding the re-opening guidance released Wednesday by the Gov. Tim Walz administration.
“I hear from people every day who say the governor is ripping away their livelihood and they are disgusted that one person’s unilateral decisions can have such damaging consequences on their business, their job and even their family life,” Green said. “The governor’s latest announcement regarding baby steps to re-open Minnesota misses the mark so badly it is embarrassing. And the real insult is that, while the governor is doing a great disservice to Minnesota businesses, he is doing even worse for our churches by limiting them to 10 people inside at once. He may as well have just left them closed for all the good that will do.”
