I wish you a Merry Christmas as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Given the challenges we’ve all faced in the last year, it may be more important than ever for us to come together as families to count our blessings and worship the Lord. There remains much to celebrate. I hope you’ll take this opportunity to reflect on the true spirit of Christmas and the many gifts we share.
The arrival of the New Year means the Legislature soon will be convening the 2021 session, which starts Jan. 5. Preparations have been taking place to establish new committee rosters and I am pleased to be serving as the Republican lead on the committee which appropriates funding from the Legacy Amendment. I will be sure to pass along news and notes from that committee as things get going.
For now, I want to thank the people of District 2B for the opportunity to continue representing our district at the Capitol. As always, the Legislature will face a great many challenges during the upcoming session and I will do my best to advocate for the people I represent.
