Legislative Update

Friday, April 25, 2014

Dear Friends,

The Minnesota Legislature returned to work on Tuesday after being in recess last week to observe the Easter/Passover holiday.

It was great to return to the district last week and get a chance to catch-up with constituents. I have heard from many of you this session about a number of important issues. Session is in the homestretch, but I encourage you to continue reaching out if you have ideas on how to make Minnesota better. I welcome your input!

Along that line, if you have not yet had a chance, I would encourage you to take my 2014 legislative survey here. This is the last week to take my survey, and I will email the results next week.

Your input is valuable and helps me better represent you in St. Paul. Thank you to those who have already responded!

FFA at the Capitol

Earlier this session, it was wonderful to meet with a number of FFA students from Braham High School. FFA is a great organization for youth to get involved in, promoting leadership, volunteerism and agricultural education.

With over 10,000 student members in Minnesota, FFA is a fantastic organization, and I am happy it is an available extracurricular activity for kids in my district.

It is an honor to represent you in St. Paul. I will continue to work on your behalf at the Capitol.

Sincerely,

Brian
