Legislative Update from Rep. Ron Kresha

Friday, February 18, 2022

Friends,

A big shout out to the Little Falls Boys Nordic Ski Team as a state participant. Congratulations for all the hard work and the great season! And to the Pierz Pioneer Women’s Basketball Team—Keep piling up the victories!

This week in the legislature has been one for the books. District lines have been re-drawn. I want to assure you – district lines don’t determine my priorities while I hold this office. My commitment is to you and the people of Minnesota. I strongly support our rights as Americans and when those rights have been challenged these last years, I have been at the forefront fighting for them.

As the House Republican lead for education, I am continually advancing more transparency for schools and finding policies and solutions for our school leaders to help educate our children.  We have great schools in our area and we need to work together to educate our kids.

This week legislation continues to move through the House Chamber. I am excited to see where how life will improve with the implementation of some of these bills.

I am looking forward to the Decoy Show on March 5 in the Falls Ballroom. Looking ahead, the Night with the Fishing Pros Fundraiser will be on April 22 at Rice Creek. Be sure to visit both events and support our community!

If you missed it- the I.C.E. festival last weekend resulted in the worlds largest ice carousel at 1,328 feet. If you missed it, you might want to go ahead and put it on your calendar for next year.

As always, I am here to serve you. Please let me know if you need anything.
