Hello Neighbors

I'm really enjoying my time at this year's Kandiyohi County Fair and I always appreciate the kind words and visiting with many of you. Thanks to everyone who has recently subscribed to my email updates. I am glad most of you are enjoying them and finding them informative.

I have been visiting with other colleagues in the Senate and House on our transportation plan, the fishing issues on Mille Lacs Lake and the possible projects for next year's bonding bill. I will keep my eye on what comes out of the Working Group set up to examine the Mille Lacs issue. We need long-term answers for the resort owners up there to make sure walleye populations get back to the levels they need to be at. I will keep you informed of any news on the potential special session.

The House Bonding committee will be here in Kandiyohi County August 26th to see the projects to see some of the proposed projects including more funding for the Willmar Rail project to divert traffic south of the city, a project at the College and possibly others. I will send along more information once our schedule has been finalized. If you have any information to share with the Bonding Committee about any of these potential projects, please send me an email and I'll make sure it gets sent around.

Thanks for the continued privilege of representing our area. This is truly the best job I've ever had. I'm here to serve you, so please contact me with any questions or comments. Have a great August and I hope to see you soon!
