Dear Neighbor,
The holidays are fast approaching, and I would like to take a moment to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope you are able to spend the holidays celebrating with loved ones and enjoying the season. Also, if you’re traveling over the next couple of weeks, please do so safely!
I would like to take a moment to share all that I am grateful for this holiday season including my family and our community; it is an honor and privilege to represent you at the Capitol in St. Paul! With how busy the Christmas season can get, I hope you do not lose sight of the true meaning of Christmas--celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
Committee Assignments
This past week, Speaker Kurt Daudt and House Republican leadership released committee rosters; I was named Vice-Chair of the Education Innovation Policy Committee. I will also serve on the Higher Education & Career Readiness Policy and Finance, and Transportation Finance committees. I am excited for the opportunity to be a leader for our schools in St. Paul and I look forward to representing our values while doing so.
The next legislative session will be underway on January 3rd. I welcome your views, questions and suggestions on issues of interest or concern.
