Newborns and new parents in Minnesota may soon go home with a box—but not just any box.
Modeled after a program in Finland, the box would provide babies a safe space to sleep along with care supplies to low-income families.
State Rep. Dave Pinto (DFL-St. Paul) proposed the bill in an effort to lower the risk of SIDS and developmental delays.
