ST. PAUL – State Rep. Matt Bliss, R-Pennington, issued the following statement regarding Friday’s scheduled opening of the Line 3 pipeline across northern Minnesota:
“I am pleased to see the new Line 3 is finally getting up and running after passing muster on study after study, permit after permit and just an exhaustive process in general,” Bliss said. “The old pipeline was deteriorating and the Obama administration recommended it be replaced. I am glad to see, after hard work and dedication by so many people on this state-of-the-art system, that we now have a safer, more efficient pipeline in place across northern Minnesota.”
