Last evening, I met with residents and staff of Lutheran Social Services Group Homes. They serve hundreds of disabled adults who live in in-home settings throughout our community. It was a moving experience to have these adults tell me in their own words how important their home and care providers are to them!
Last week, I toured the Minnesota Department of Public Health to learn about screening programs and how infectious disease investigations are handled.
