SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Tonight, Governor Tim Walz and legislative leaders reached agreement on an outline for a new two-year state budget.
Rep. Dave Lislegard (DFL – Aurora) issued the following statement in response:
“Compromise was absolutely key to getting this work done on time, and Minnesotans should be able to count on their elected leaders being able to work together. I’m pleased Governor Walz and the legislative leaders were able to do this while investing in education, protecting health care, and strengthening economic opportunities.
“Looking ahead, I remain committed to putting people before politics and strengthening the outlook for all Minnesotans.”
