Upcoming Events and Activities

Caring Youth Awards

The annual Caring Youth Awards, sponsored by the cities of Minnetonka, Hopkins, and Golden Valley, the Minnetonka and Hopkins school districts, and the Glen Lake Optimists, are an opportunity to recognize young Minnesotans who serve our area through volunteering. Organizations can nominate students in grades 7-12 who live, attend school, and/or volunteer in Minnetonka, Hopkins, or Golden Valley.

You can find the nomination form and additional information about the Caring Young Awards here. Nominations are due on Thursday, February 10, and the recipients will be announced later that month.

Fire & Ice Festival

The Fire & Ice Festival is just around the corner! This annual event, hosted by the City of Plymouth, features games, entertainment, food, and fireworks. It will take place on Parkers Lake on Saturday, February 5 from 3 to 7 p.m. You can find more information here.

I hope to see you at the town hall later this month! Please reach out if you have any questions about my work or if I can be of assistance.

Sincerely,

Patty Acomb
