SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The 2022 state legislative session began on Monday, January 31. State Representative Patty Acomb (DFL – Minnetonka) issued the following statement:
“With a projected positive budget balance of $7.7 billion, we have an opportunity to make meaningful investments this session. House DFLers are seizing this chance to ensure Minnesotans’ needs are met and to build a stronger and more prosperous state for future generations.
“I am excited to work with Minnesotans on a variety of issues. Expanding economic opportunity, supporting our students, and increasing access to health care are at the top of my list. If we work together, I am confident we can make a big impact this session.”
