SAINT PAUL, MN – Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman announced the appointment of Rep. Patty Acomb (DFL – Minnetonka) as the next chair of the House Climate and Energy Finance and Policy Committee. Rep. Acomb, first elected in 2018, currently serves as vice-chair of the committee.
“As vice chair of Climate & Energy, I was part of many important discussions and now, as chair, I will continue to craft impactful legislation which will make a difference now and for future generations,” said Rep. Acomb. “I look forward to partnering with my legislative colleagues, industry representatives and advocates to ensure our state is on the cutting edge of a bright tomorrow for all Minnesotans.”
