Legislative Update

It’s great to be back in session, ready to get down to business and fight for the people of Minnesota. Committees are back in full swing, and we’re beginning to hear bills once again—some of which have been delayed due to the disruption caused by the Supreme Court’s ruling on quorum requirements. Despite this setback, I am focused on advancing critical legislation to tackle the issues that matter most to you.

While Democrats seem determined to avoid addressing their record of enabling fraud and raising taxes, Republicans are zeroing in on the priorities Minnesotans care about. We've hit the ground running with big hearings aimed at stopping fraud, making Minnesota more affordable, and ensuring our communities are safe. Let’s keep pushing forward together to build a better future for Minnesota!

Happy National FFA Week!

1

This week, we celebrate the future of agriculture, leadership, and innovation through the incredible work of Minnesota FFA Association members. Their dedication to growing our communities and feeding the world is truly inspiring. As they continue to pave the way for future generations, we’re proud to support these rising leaders in the fields of farming and agriculture. Here’s to the next generation of farmers and agricultural pioneers!

A Capitol-Sized Thank You to Koi Perich!

1

This week, I had the huge honor of standing with none other than the legendary Paul Bunyan’s Axe—the iconic symbol of Minnesota’s fierce football rivalry! Holding that thing was like holding a piece of history (and probably a few years of intense football smack talk).

But the real showstopper? Koi Perich, University of Minnesota football player, who brought some serious star power to the Capitol. The energy he brought was undeniable, and it was an absolute pleasure having him here. Koi’s dedication to the game and to representing Minnesota with pride is something we can all look up to!

Big shout-out to Koi for making the Capitol a little more Gopher-glam this week! Keep making us proud on and off the field. We’re all cheering you on!
