St. Paul, MN – The escalating conflict between Russia and Ukraine is impacting Americans at the gas pump. Due to the rising gas prices and the lack of efforts to ramp up American energy independence and create American prosperity, Representative Brian Pfarr (R-Le Sueur) and several colleagues issued a House Resolution, requesting President Biden take measures to “ensure America’s long-term energy affordability, security, leadership and progress.”
“We have the natural resources to become energy independent,” Pfarr said. “We must utilize these resources to ensure American prosperity.”
As part of the resolution, House members have requested more pipelines be constructed and an end to restrictions on America’s onshore and offshore oil and natural gas resources.
