SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The 2023 Minnesota legislative session convened on Tuesday at noon in Saint Paul. Rep. Jess Hanson (DFL – Burnsville) took the oath of office to begin her second term in the Minnesota House.
“I am honored to be reelected by my community in Savage and northwest Burnsville.” Rep. Hanson said. “This session, we are in a strong position to solve big challenges and improve the lives of all Minnesotans.”
This session, Rep. Hanson has been appointed vice chair of the Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee, while also serving on the Higher Education Finance and Policy, Human Services Policy, and Children and Families Finance and Policy committees.
