SAINT PAUL, MN – Representative Ben Bakeberg, R-Jordan, took the oath of office to begin his first term Tuesday at the beginning of the 2023 legislative session. Bakeberg will represent the new District 54B which includes the communities of Prior Lake, Jordan, Jackson Township, Louisville Township, Sand Creek Township, Spring Lake Township, and a portion of Shakopee.
Prior to the start of session, Bakeberg was appointed to serve on the Education Finance and Education Policy Committees.
“It is an honor to represent my neighbors in District 54B at the Capitol,” said Bakeberg. “As an educator and current principal, I look forward to bringing my experience in public and private education to the Education Finance and Education Policy Committees to ensure every child in Minnesota can succeed.”
