Wishing You a Joyful and Blessed Easter Weekend! Dear Friends and Neighbors, As we enter Easter weekend, my heart is full of gratitude, peace, and joy. This is a sacred time—a time to pause, reflect, and celebrate the greatest hope we’ve ever been given. Easter is more than bunnies and baskets (though I’m certainly looking forward to spending time with family and a few chocolate treats!). At its heart, Easter is about the resurrection of Jesus Christ—His triumph over sin and death, and the promise of new life that it brings to all who believe. It’s a reminder that no matter how dark the world may feel at times, the light of Christ always breaks through. The message of Easter fills me with such joy and purpose. It reminds me that we are never alone, that grace is freely given, and that redemption is always possible. That truth gives me strength in my work, hope for our community, and a deep sense of purpose in serving you at the Capitol.
