Saint Paul, MN- State Rep. Liz Lee (DFL-Saint Paul) released the following statement on the shooting incidents in the Greater Eastside.
“As details continue to emerge about today’s shootings on the Eastside, one thing is clear: the resilience of our Eastside community members. I want to commend the community members who took heroic actions to prevent further harm. And my thoughts are with the injured still undergoing treatment.
“This part of Eastside has a special place in my heart because it is where I grew up getting ice cream and happy meals. It’s also where I celebrated both of my first victories. There is never a place for gun violence in our community - whether it’s this commercial part of the Eastside, or anywhere else.
