ST. PAUL – Representative Ben Davis (R–Mission Twp.) today announced that the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority (MPFA) has approved $309,000 in funding for the City of Crosby through the Lead Service Line Replacement (LSLR) Program.
The project will replace approximately 34 lead service lines in Crosby’s drinking water infrastructure, ensuring families have access to safe and reliable drinking water. The funding is structured as a grant, covering the full cost of the project.
“This is great news for the people of Crosby,” said Rep. Davis. “Safe, clean drinking water is one of the most basic needs of every community. This investment ensures that families can trust the water coming out of their tap, and I am proud to support efforts like this that improve the health and safety of our communities.”
The LSLR Program is funded through a combination of federal capitalization grants from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and state appropriations to the MPFA.
“I congratulate Crosby for its commitment to replacing outdated lead service lines and protecting its residents,” Davis added. “These are the kinds of responsible, practical projects that make a real difference for families across Minnesota.”
