“These are reasonable investments that strengthen our workforce and communities,” said Rep. Davis. “By supporting earn-and-learn opportunities, we’re helping Minnesotans build rewarding careers, while ensuring employers have the skilled workforce they need to meet today’s challenges.”
The Minnesota Dual Training Grant Program is administered by the Office of Higher Education in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Industry and the Department of Employment and Economic Development. The program provides funding to employers who partner with training providers to offer career pathways in high-demand fields such as health care, manufacturing, and information technology.
“This program is a win-win,” Davis added. “Workers gain new skills and upward mobility, and employers get the trained professionals they need to succeed. I’m proud to see these resources coming to our region.”
