Neighbors,

The 2023 legislative session adjourned in May and many of the laws passed are set to go into effect on July 1. New laws include increases in funding for agriculture, education, renewable energy, public safety, and elections. Among the new laws taking effect are free school breakfast and lunch for all K-12 students, protecting healthcare workers against violence, limits on no-knock warrants, funding for rural broadband, free college tuition for income-eligible students, and more.

The goal of House DFLers this session was to build a state where everyone can thrive and succeed. We listened to you and your priorities and Minnesota will be a better place to live and work because of your input.
