HF 424 (Bahner) Definition of qualified domestic violence-related offenses amended to include additional crimes.

HF 93 (Pinto) Slavery or involuntary servitude prohibited as criminal punishment for crime, and constitutional amendment proposed.

HF 43 (Feist) Gross misdemeanor maximum term of incarceration set at 364 days.

HF 147 (Mueller) Mower County; incarceration program alternatives funding provided, and money appropriated.

HF 28 (Frazier) Right to vote restored to individuals convicted of a felony upon completion of any term of incarceration imposed and executed by a court for the offense.

HF 25 (Frazier) Violent crime investigation team account established to fund violent crime investigation teams throughout the state, crime and violence prevention grants established, evidence-processing technology and crisis response teams grant established, force investigations unit supplemental funding provided, special revenue accounts established, report required, money transferred, and money appropriated.

HF 181 (Vang) Reporting of crimes motivated by bias expanded; crimes of assault, property damage, and harassment motivated by bias amended; Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training required to update training in recognizing, responding to, and reporting crimes of bias; and money appropriated.

* AMENDMENT DEADLINE CHANGE: Due to office closures on Monday, Jan. 16th, the amendment deadline for bills scheduled on Jan. 17th, is FRIDAY, Jan. 13th at 10:30 AM (not Monday, Jan. 16th).

* OTHER DEADLINE CHANGES: Due to office closures on Jan. 16th, public testimony and written testimony must be submitted to the CA and CLA by 12:00 PM (noon) on Friday, January 13th.
