*HF 2354 (Norris) Medicaid fraud provisions expanded and modified, subpoena and enforcement authority specified, penalties imposed, and money appropriated.

*Testimony and discussion on HF 2354 will be confined to section 3 of the bill related to penalties.

HF 264 (Hanson, J) Improved medical care in licensed correctional facilities provided.

HF 686 (Frazier) Development of a model policy for safe traffic stops required, best practices and areas for development prescribed, preservice curriculum aligned with model policy, continuing education requirements established for law enforcement officers, and money appropriated.

HF 1659 (Curran) Reporting requirements related to community supervisions clarified, federal law enforcement agents who transport persons exempted from definition of protective agent, and obsolete civil commitment law regarding incarcerated individuals with mental illness repealed.

HF 1094 (Hollins) Expungements or resentencings involving past cannabis crimes clarified.

HF 1083 (Moller) Domestic abuse advocates prohibited from disclosing information.

3. HF 1590 (West) – Mandatory minimum sentences established for malicious punishment of a child.

4. HF 561 (Quam) – Law enforcement use of unmanned aerial vehicles to find missing persons, persons fleeing arrest, and incarcerated persons authorized.

5. HF 1275 (Tabke) – Use of unmanned aerial vehicles authorized for risk of fleeing suspect or actual fleeing suspect.

6. HF 1396 (Witte) – Permitted uses of unmanned aerial vehicles by law enforcement expanded.

Note: There will be a delete-all amendment incorporating the provisions of the three UAV bills into one bill.

7. HF 1744 (Stier) – Expanded use of tracking devices authorized for fleeing motor vehicles.

8. HF 1375 (Duran) – Peace officer grievance arbitration selection procedure repealed.

9. HF 2525 (Duran) – Public safety officer hearing protection program established, and money appropriated.

10. HF 287 (Engen) – Ten years of age maintained as the minimum age of delinquency.

11. HF 104 (Feist) – Confidentiality established for restorative justice practices participants, and data classified (pending re-referral).

*This will be an informational hearing to discuss the Governor’s budget proposals. No formal testimony from the public will be taken at this time.
