MINUTES

Representative Anderson B, Chair, called the meeting to order at 12:30pm. On February 28, 2011, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was not present at the beginning of the meeting.

HF 232 Gold star license plates eligibility expanded to surviving legal guardians and siblings.

Rep. Kriesel moves HF 232 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the committee on Transportation Policy and Finance.

Representative Davids moved approval of the minutes of February14, 2011. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

HF 50 Female-veteran designation authorized for special veteran's license plates or Gold Star license plates.

Rep. Anderson, B. moves HF 50 be recommended to pass and re- referred to the committee on Transportation Policy and Finance

Rep. Anderson introduced the H0050DE4 amendment.

Vice-Chair Kriesel moved the H0050DE4 amendment to HF 50.

THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Strike lines 3.1to 3.3

Vice-Chair Kriesel moved the Kahn oral amendment to the H0050DE4 amendment.

Rep. Anderson moves HF 50, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the committee on Transportation Policy and Finance.

Vice- Chair Kriesel moved HF 50, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred the committee on Transportation Policy and Finance

HF 186 Driver's license expiration period extended while person is serving in active military service.

Rep. O’Driscoll moves HF 186 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the committee on Transportation Policy and Finance
