MINUTES

Representative Urdahl, Chair of the Legacy Funding Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:47 on April 18, 2016 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Miller moved to approve the minutes of April 11, 2016. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2611 McNamara, Outdoor heritage fund money appropriated, fund and council provisions modified, and prior appropriations modified.

Rep. Lillie moved to lay over HF 2611 for possible inclusion in the Legacy Finance omnibus bill.

Rep. McNamara introduced HF 2611.

Mark Johnson, Executive Director of the Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council, gave a walkthrough of HF 2611.

Rep. Lillie renewed his motion to lay over HF 2611 for possible inclusion in the Legacy Finance omnibus bill.

HF 3829 Urdahl, Park and trail fund and arts and cultural heritage fund request requirements amended.

Chair Urdahl moved to refer HF 3829 to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Urdahl moved to adopt the H3829DE2 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Urdahl moved to adopt the H3829A15 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Urdahl moved to adopt the H3829A14 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Green moved to adopt the H3829A8 Amendment.

Rep. Green introduced and explained the H3829A8 Amendment.

Rep. Green renewed his motion to adopt the H3829A8 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Kahn moved to adopt the H3829A7 Amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL. THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Rep. Kahn moved to reconsider and asked for a division. On a vote of 4 AYE and 7 NAYS. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL. THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Rep. Kahn moved to adopt the H3829A12 Amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL. THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Rep. Kahn moved to adopt the H3829A9 Amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL. THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Rep. Kahn requested a roll call on the H3829A9 Amendment. The results as follows:
