ELECTIONS FINANCE AND GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Quam, Co-Chair of the Elections Finance and Government Operations Committee, called the meeting to order at 5:01PM on March 18, 2026, in Room G23 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF 2526 (Duran) Exceptions to prohibition against gifts to local officials expanded.

Co-Chair Quam moved HF 2526 before the committee.

Representative Virnig moved to adopt the H2526DE1 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Co-Vice Chair Altendorf moved to re-refer HF 2526 as amended to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Co-Vice Chair Altendorf assumed the gavel at 5:07PM.

HF 3722 (Quam) Removal of deceased voters from statewide voter registration system required.

Co-Chair Quam moved HF 3722 before the committee.

Co-Chair Quam moved to adopt the H3722A1 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
