HF 2432 (Novotny / Moller) Protection from report of fictitious emergency extended to all state or local correctional employees; Tribal Nation access and use of community supervisions services subsidy clarified; post-incarceration supervision provisions codified; obsolete administrative rules repealed; various other public safety, judiciary, and corrections provisions modified; and money appropriated.
Note: A delete-all amendment that inserts the language of the House Public Safety Budget Bill and the budget spreadsheet been posted. House staff will do a walk-through of the bill and public testimony will be taken at the Tuesday, April 8 hearing.
The Committee will consider amendments, hold member discussion and pass the bill out of committee at the Wednesday hearing. There will be no further opportunity for public testimony at Wednesday’s hearing.
