PUBLIC SAFETY FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES


Representative Kelly Moller, Chair of the Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:08 PM on April 7th, 2026, in Room 120 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Curran moved to approve the minutes of March 25th, 2025. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1082 (Moller) Minnesota victims of crime account established, grants provided to crime victim service providers, fees and penalties for deposit in account increased, and money transferred from general fund to account.

Vice Chair Feist assumed the gavel.

Chair Moller moved to lay over HF1082.

Chair Moller moved the HF1082DE4 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
