House recognizes research, fiscal departments for 50 years of service

The non-partisan House Research and House Fiscal Analysis Departments were recognized by the House Thursday for their 50 years of service. Both departments were created in 1967.

A resolution was read that described how essential the departments are to the legislative process and House members congratulated department staff on their 50 year anniversary.
