PUBLIC SAFETY FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Kelly Moller, Chair of the Committee on Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:31 AM on, March 15th, 2024, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Becker-Finn moved the minutes of March 14th, 2024, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4043 (Agbaje) Allocation of incarcerated persons based on their last known address in Minnesota required, Department of Corrections required to collect last residential address of an inmate before incarceration.

Chair Moller moved that HF4043 be re-referred to the Committee on State and Local Government Finance and Policy

HF 3799 (Norris) Office of Animal Protection established, and duties provided, definition of crime of violence expanded, and money appropriated.

Chair Moller moved that HF3799 be laid over.

Representative Tabke moved that HF4591 be placed on the General Register.

Chair Moller moved that HF4101 be placed on the General Register.
